How Briskly handles your data

Last updated: June 2026

What we collect

We collect your name, email address, and business information when you create an account. We also collect usage data (page views, feature interactions) to improve the service.

How we use it

Your information is used to provide and improve the service, process payments, send service-related communications, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your conversations or business content to train AI models — see our security page for the full list of commitments.

Analytics on your Briskly website

Websites we host for you include a small first-party analytics beacon. It exists for one purpose: to show you, the business owner, how your own site is doing ("47 people visited your site, 6 tapped Call"). Here is exactly what it records:

  • Events: page views, taps on phone (tel:) and email (mailto:) links, and the fact that a form was submitted. Form contents are never sent to analytics.
  • With each event: the page path and the referrer's hostname only (e.g. google.com, never the full referring URL).
  • Visitor counting: to count distinct visitors, our server computes a one-way hash of the visitor's IP address and browser user-agent combined with a value that changes every day. The raw IP address and user-agent are not stored, and because the hash rotates daily, visitors cannot be tracked across days or across sites.
  • What it does not do: no cookies, no local storage, no fingerprinting scripts, no third-party trackers, and no personal information is stored. The data is shown only to the business owner and is never sold or shared for advertising.

Third parties

We share the minimum data needed with the service providers who make Briskly work: Stripe (payments), Twilio (phone & SMS), Railway (application hosting), Neon (database), Cloudflare (DNS & CDN), and our AI model providers (AI features). Each provider's privacy policy governs their handling of your data.

Data retention & deleting your account

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account yourself from your dashboard settings — no support ticket required. Deletion is scheduled 7 days out (you can cancel it any time within that window), after which your resources are released and your data is purged. Billing records are retained where required for tax and accounting compliance.

Your rights

You can export your business data (customer contacts, form submissions, call logs and transcripts, email threads, appointments) directly from your dashboard settings, and delete your account from the same place. You can also request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@usebriskly.com.
